{"id":1120,"date":"2014-07-31T23:05:02","date_gmt":"2014-07-31T23:05:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.system11.org\/?p=1120"},"modified":"2017-05-21T23:01:06","modified_gmt":"2017-05-21T23:01:06","slug":"repair-namco-na-1-boards-leaky-caps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.system11.org\/?p=1120","title":{"rendered":"Repair &#8211; Namco NA-1 boards, leaky caps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve not been updating the site much lately, I&#8217;ve been watching loads of films and doing almost nothing in the way of gaming or keyboard use.\u00a0 There&#8217;s a good reason for that too, tendonitis.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, someone recently posted on the forum about a problem with a dead Namco NA-11 based game.\u00a0 These are known for bad capacitors on the reset circuit (C5, under the ROM board).\u00a0 Sure enough it was the fault.<\/p>\n<p>However, these boards have lots of other capacitors of the same make, age and type.\u00a0 Guess what&#8230;.
