Semicom made a fun little vs fighting game here, very hard to find and I suspect I know why &#8211; they&#8217;ve used two regulators to generate dedicated 5v feeds for the Lattice chips, but they run really hot and cook the board.\u00a0 On this example someone has soldered them to the main PCB ground plane to try to distribute heat.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll be making a heatsink for this, bad design.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.system11.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/0401_sd_fighters.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-774\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.system11.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/0401_sd_fighters-300x210.jpg\" alt=\"0401_sd_fighters\" width=\"300\" height=\"210\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.system11.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/0401_sd_fighters-300x210.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.system11.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/0401_sd_fighters-768x539.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.system11.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/0401_sd_fighters.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Final Tetris &#8211; a Japanese one, got this on ebay sold as untested, had a sound fault due to physical damage of the large SIL item near the amp.\u00a0 It had been bent and straightened at the pins, but two were broken.\u00a0 End result was sounding like cap failure, because some of the caps are on that SIL custom.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.system11.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/0401_legionnaire.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-771\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.system11.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/0401_legionnaire-300x217.jpg\" alt=\"0401_legionnaire\" width=\"300\" height=\"217\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Gaia Crusaders &#8211; unusual side scrolling brawler with heavy use of magic attacks and fairly good sampled music.\u00a0 It gets a bit repetetive the more you play because many enemies are just re-coloured.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.system11.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/0401_gaia_crusaders.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-768\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.system11.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/0401_gaia_crusaders-300x202.jpg\" alt=\"0401_gaia_crusaders\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hexa &#8211; it&#8217;s a game a bit like Puyo Puyo, which reveals women (eventually) the more lines you complete.\u00a0 I wanted one of these because it&#8217;s adult and Korean and rubbish &#8211; an unholy trinity of qualities.\u00a0 Really happy to have received it as a Christmas gift from a PCB seller!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.system11.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/0401_hexa.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-769\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.system11.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/0401_hexa-300x240.jpg\" alt=\"0401_hexa\" width=\"300\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.system11.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/0401_hexa-300x240.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.system11.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/0401_hexa-768x615.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.system11.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/0401_hexa.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Blazeon &#8211;
