Burning Force – fun little into-the-screen shooter from Namco on their awesome System II hardware. Every couple of levels you switch from your hoverbike with direction and speed controls into a spaceship which has fixed speed but 2 axis control. What I’ll never understand is why Namco didn’t really make much of the heroine, shes a cute design but only appeared again in a couple of small cameos.
