You may have noticed a newly discovered type of DVD Mahjong system in my last New Arrivals post, the Miki DVD Theatre. Most of the titles get very lewd immediately (they used off the shelf pornographic DVDs and just released timing & title ROMs to match) but this one has a slow build so I’ve uploaded a capture of it running. Since they’re all the same game with just different films, there’s not much point me recording any of the others.
In hardware terms it’s pretty basic – a modified JVC DVD player (will post full details at some point), and Nichibutsu cloned hardware. Video footage causes a resolution switch so I had to capture with S-Video.
