So I was really getting into getting through the huge piles of art that need scanning, and scanning everything that arrives or leaves as a priority but unfortunately…. Scanner has started adding strange streaks to scans, it was a cheap Canon LIDE 220 and did pretty well for a while. Since larger than A4 has been a huge problem with stitching images, and since the flimsy chassis has been a problem loading the scan cover with weight for the best scans of damaged art, I want to replace it with an A3 of more sturdy construction.
It’s going to have to be way down the purchase list, too many other things at the moment.
